Hi, I’m Becky Stewart—founder and lead planner of RJ Stewart Events. Before this was a planning studio, it was just a spark—fueled by emotion, guided by intention, and rooted in one deeply personal truth:

Where It All Began

The very first time I planned a wedding, I knew I’d found something special.

Not just in the flowers, the music, or the first looks—but in the way it felt to bring order to the emotional whirlwind. I loved being the calm in the middle of it all. The person who helped it unfold with care. And even when I wasn’t doing it professionally, I kept planning—for friends, for family, for the joy of it.

The spark stayed with me. But life asked me to wait.

In 2023, while planning my own vow renewal with my husband, that long-held spark came roaring back. I wasn’t just excited—I was lit up.

The details. The vision. The spreadsheets.

I realized this wasn’t just something I was good at.

It was the work I was meant to do.

The Beginning of RJ Stewart Events

In January 2024, I launched RJ Stewart Events with a clear mission: to guide modern couples through the planning process with heart, structure, and calm clarity.

That first year was a whirlwind—in the best way.

  • We planned 15 weddings across Connecticut and beyond
  • I earned my Master Certification through the CWP Society
  • I invested in education through The Planner’s Playbook, Brandee Gaar’s Accelerator, and ongoing CWP training

This isn’t just a résumé. It’s a reflection of how deeply I care. I don’t just plan weddings—I create systems and experiences that let couples be fully present, emotionally supported, and completely themselves.
